The class had the opportunity to visit Grab n Grow Greenhouse and The Witty Farmer Store, where owner Jenny Schmidgall shared her entrepreneurial journey with the students.

Jenny spoke about what it takes to start and run a successful business, the hard work behind growing a seasonal operation, and the importance of building relationships with customers and the community. She also shared valuable insights about taking risks, learning along the way, and staying passionate about what you do.

The students enjoyed seeing the self-serve, self-checkout mini farmers market in action and learning how Jenny has grown her business into a local favorite for plants, eggs, meat, breads, sweet treats and more.

Thank you, Jenny, for welcoming the class and for investing your time in our students!
