This morning, the class had a great opportunity to meet with Gracie Deusterhaus (Morgan-Scott CEO Class of 2019 alumna), Alissa Dunaway
(Morgan-Scott CEO Class of 2016 alumna), and Brittany Chambers of the Meredosia May Day Committee. Students learned firsthand what it takes to plan and execute a community event. From organizing logistics and coordinating volunteers to creating an experience that brings the entire community together, the committee shared valuable insights into the behind-the-scenes work that makes this new tradition so special.
Experiences like this highlight the power of community involvement, leadership, and collaboration, which are key components of the CEO program. It was inspiring for our students to see how a dedicated group of individuals can create something that has such a meaningful and lasting impact.
Thank you to Gracie, Alissa, and Brittany for your time, your passion, and for investing in the next generation of leaders!
