The class visited the WLDS/WEAI radio station today where co-owner and Sales Manager, Mark Whalen, spoke to the students about the history of the station. He told the students how the station’s main objective is to get local news and events to listeners in their four county area of Scott, Cass, Morgan and Greene Counties and discussed the target markets of both stations. Mark asked the students about their individual businesses and to whom they were marketing. He discussed with the class the “who, what, why, when and where” of their businesses and from there the students wrote a radio ad for their class business which is a Feelin’ Green Raffle. Josey Miller and Aiden Neathery were interviewed live by Gary Scott on WLDS and Isaac Carter and Ella Wilson were interviewed live on WEAI. They all did a great job!

Thank you so much to Mark for the tour, his time, and for help marketing the Morgan-Scott CEO class business which is a Feelin’ Green Raffle where the class will give away $1000, $500, and a Blackstone Griddle. Tickets are $20 each and can be purchased from any Morgan-Scott CEO class member. Winners will be announced March 17th.
